My notes in the Socratic Seminar , some questions that were asked are "Is it fair to say these songs were by paul simon ?
Arturo says it is 50% and 50% that paul & afriacans had made the songs
I disagree with arturo because paul was the first one to make those type of songs
#2 Explain how Simon created something new by going back to the roots of a musical genre
jazzy was found in 1920's , southern roots and parts of salivary
#3 Can we describe music as literature?why or why not?
you can because it gives you an image . Iit is literature because when youre playing it , you can actually hear it . like if its talking about a family with problems and its part of the song then you can tell whos that part or however it goes.
